Kevin W. Fitzpatrick

April 1962-June 2025

Our father and founder, Kevin W. Fitzpatrick started our company in 1992. Our dad had dreams of working for himself long before he opened ABLE Pest Control. Before moving to Central PA, he started a mattress company in the Philadelphia area where he grew up. This is also where he started training in pest control. In the summer of 1992, dad decided to move his family away from the city and start a new journey of owning and operating his own pest control company. His goal when he started ABLE Pest Control was centered around family. He wanted to create a business he could pass on to his children. At a young age, we started riding along with him to jobs and helping in small ways. When it was time for each of us to join the workforce, we all chose to work for him at ABLE Pest Control.

Dad prided himself on being the best “termite guy”. He believed in offering quick and reliable service. He preached to us about making sure we answer when the customer calls the first time and if impossible to return the call ASAP. He wanted us to be a company that gave the customer top-notch experience, from the initial phone call to performing the service itself.

We, his children, owe much of what we have to our dad and this business. We are so grateful for his dedication to bettering our lives. Apart from his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, family was of utmost importance to him. As the owners of ABLE Pest Control, Joseph, Kevin John, and myself, McKenzie, will continue to uphold our dad’s values. We continue to pride ourselves on our customer service, our quick and reliable treatment process, and our ability to answer each call that comes in. Meet Our Team

JOSEPH | President

Joseph graduated high school in 2005 and proceeded to complete his graduate degree in construction from Thaddeus Stevens Trade School in 2009. He is happily married with two beautiful children. Joseph has 20+ years of experience in the pest control field. He is certified in General Pest Control, Wood Destroying Insect Control, and Wood Repair/Replacement. He is dedicated to the highest quality service possible, and will solve your pest issues.

MCKENZIE | Treasurer

Kenzie grew up around pest control her whole life. She started working in the office at the age of 17 and has since completed a bachelor's degree in business, married a wonderful man, and started a family. She has earned the title of Office Manager. She is very personable, and makes sure every customer's needs are met.

She also keeps the men in line.

KEVIN JOHN

Vice President

Kevin John has 15+ years experience. He is happily married to his wife Nicole and they have four beautiful children. He is certified in General Pest Control, Wood Destroying Insect Control, and Public Health Pest Management. You will feel very comfortable with him in your home.

MEGAN | Office Assistant

Megan has been a part of our family for over 20 years. She married Joe in 2010 and is the mother of two awesome teenagers. She has a big heart and an attitude of service. She fulfills all the needs that our customers bring to her.

STEVEN | Technician

Steven has been a part of the family since 2016 and joined the business in 2019. He is married to McKenzie, and they have two beautiful little girls. Steven is very knowledgeable about his field and is certified in General Pest Control, Wood Destroying Insect Control, and Public Health Pest Management. Steven will go the extra mile to serve our customers.

RACHEL | Office Assistant

Rachel became a part of our team in 2022. She is extremely sweet and is always willing to listen and empathize with our customers. She can effectively communicate each of our treatment processes and help the customer figure out the best course of action. While she did not grow up as part of our family, she has become one of us. We love her like our own and are so glad we found her.

AIDEN | Technician

Aiden joined the business in 2024. He is currently a student at the Penn State University of Altoona campus and studying marketing. He is very hardworking and will efficiently get the job done. He is certified in General Pest Control and Wood Destroying Insect Control. Aiden is a kind individual and someone you can trust to protect your home.

Since 1984, Kevin Fitzpatrick has been certified in pest control. When he started out in Philly, he specialized in termites and quickly learned this was something he was great at. He moved to Central PA in the early 90s and started his own company. His business has always focused on family and the needs of his customers and this has allowed them to grow into the company that they are today. He even began training his children in his practices when they were 13. Since then, his sons have become certified, while his daughter runs the office. They all work together to help the family business flourish.
